I had THE weirdest dream last night. Or rather, it was the same dream just in 2 parts. It left me rather confused, but I think I figured it out...

Part One: My mom took me and my sister to Arby's to see my friend Dan, who works there. I haven't seen him since Feb, so this was a big trip. When we get there, the guy working the counter tells us he'll be on break in about 10 minutes. So we're sitting at a table waiting for him to come out. And he eventually comes out and he walks over and gives me the biggest hug. Then we make small talk for a couple minutes. He compliments he on my smile and how much of a change me not having my braces makes. I, for some reason have to take out my ponytail, and it falls in my face. Dan pushes it back and whispers in my ear something like "You're lucky because your sister has her hair tied back, so she won't get a kiss so easily" I look at him and smile...

At this point I wake up out of suprise, and I fall back asleep...

Part Two: My mom, my sister, Dan and I are at an amusement park. Dan's break is apparently a very long one. I have forgotten how we loose Dan, but Dan eventually gets lost and I meet Delly there. We talk for a couple of minutes, and after talking, he grabs my hand, and runs with me around the park. I'm dragging behind him the whole time because I can't keep up, but I'm never out of breath. When he slows down, I see my mom, Dan, and somehow Pifer are standing there glaring at us. Dan gets upset with me because I went to Homecoming with Pifer, and Delly gets mad at me because I like Dan and didn't tell him. So they all argue and my mom walks over and tells me that I have to choose between them.

I wake up again because the sun is shining in my eyes. When I first woke up I was confused and had no idea what the dream meant. But after thinking about it for awhile, I think I have it...

Dan was direct in hinting that he liked me in the dream, and he told me that he liked me in real life. The fact that a real relationship could form there I think is important.

Delly was very vague, and I don't remember any conversation that passed between us in the dream, I just know that we talked. Because he was running through the park dragging me, I think that that symbolizes that the relationship could never work.

Dan only gets upset when he found out that there were other people, and Delly got mad. That is another difference. Dan will be forgiving and Delly won't.

So now I ask, was the dream just a dream, or is it telling me something?

Well, I'm sorry it's been over a month, but I have been busy, and I haven't had much time to write. Homecoming was last night. I didn't have an official date, but I went with Pifer. There's not much to say, other than the dance itself was dumb, and Pifer wasted 3 bucks... The dinner before the dance was hilarious, and the party at Nikki's house after it was even funnier, but that dance was just not cool. At the dance, Gary was complaining because he didn't have a date, and I didn't really either, so I kept trying to throw hints at him, but that didn't work too well. And I kept getting frustrated with myself because everytime I got a chance to talk to him, I either froze up or couldn't just come out and say it. I got so mad at myself, and then it didn't help matters any that they stopped the dance 10 minutes early because people were stealing stuff, and people were being idiots about it. Gotta love the preps. Reverting back to Friday night... I was in the band room after the football game playing my guitar because I knew my mom was going to sit there and talk to the director for another hour and a half. There was this to-be pit member (at this time of the year? I got confused too...) and his name was Josh. He came over and I could tell he wanted to talk to me, so I stopped playing. But then Ginny came over and started talking to him, so I waited for a couple of minutes, and he kept turning around towards me in the pauses with her, but then she'd start talking again and he got trapped. Finally after 10 minutes of this, he finally gets the chance to say, "Hey, I'm Josh." And I introduced myself to him, told him my dad helped with the percussion, and my sister was in guard, he said that was cool, and that was the extent of the convo because Ginny, again, started talking. Ginny does that same thing to Saagar and Nikki, and Shannon and Jesse. I think she has a problem with girls that aren't her talking to guys. And it gets really annoying after awhile because there are other people that want to talk to the male race too... the only time I ever get to talk to the drumline at all is when she isn't there... Oh well. I have till tuesday to figure something out... As, an afterthought: our guard has won best guard for the past 2 weeks in a row. The only shows we didn't get best guard in was the GM Exhibition (obviously) and the MCD show, because Cochr. won.

We had our first band competition of the season last night. That was the best run that we've had in our 3 performances this year. (I would hope, lol) Most of the people that I talked to after the show said that our small 4 person guard was better than some of the larger guards, but that doesn't suprise me because it's harder to keep a large guard together and it's only the first show. After the show, one of Randy's church friends came over to join us while we were waiting for everyone to change into their civvies. He talked to Randy and I for awhile and we just clicked. I like him, and I could tell he liked me, but neither of us were going to say anything because we didn't know each other that well yet. When we were up in the stands watching the rest of the show, I approached Randy about it, and I didn't have any intentions of blurting it out, but Nikki did that for me. I think I turned a brilliant shade of red... Randy just laughed and said that he'd get me a date with him. I've been in a good mood since, but I'm hoping Randy doesn't forget to say something to him today...
